Details of the Day Trip

Once we pick you up from your accommodation, our journey begins towards the Kaan Luum Lagoon, renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty within the Yucatan Peninsula.

Upon arrival at the lagoon, a scenic walk awaits you along its banks, where you can marvel at the vibrant turquoise waters and the surrounding mangroves. What contributes to the lagoon's striking color? Was it indeed a sacred site during pre-Columbian times? These intriguing questions will be addressed as we delve into the tour.

Continuing our adventure through the Yucatan Peninsula, we will visit two remarkable cenotes. Our first stop is the Mariposa cenote, where you can enjoy approximately 40 minutes of leisure time for a refreshing swim.

After this invigorating experience, we will make our way to a local eatery for a satisfying lunch. You'll have the choice of various traditional Mexican dishes from an extensive and enticing menu.

Post-lunch, we will head to the Chen-Ha cenote, a site rich in stunning landscapes. Here, you'll encounter impressive stalactites and stalagmites as we uncover the story behind these natural formations. To conclude this segment of our trip, we will participate in a Maya ceremony designed to promote mental and physical purification.

The day will wind down with our return to your hotel, completing an experience that lasts approximately 7 to 8 hours in total.
