Days 1 and 2: Theoretical Learning and Confined Water Practice

We will gather on the first day at a dive academy located on Sagitario Street to commence our journey in the PADI Open Water course in Tulum.

The initial two days are dedicated to a theoretical foundation in scuba diving, which is crucial for achieving your official diving diploma. Participants will become acquainted with the various diving equipment, familiarize themselves with safety procedures, and learn essential underwater communication signals.

The day will culminate in a brief assessment to verify the understanding of key concepts. Afterward, you will have the chance to practice diving in a controlled environment, easing into this thrilling activity. After completing a six-hour session over the two days, you'll depart the academy, eagerly anticipating the next phase of your diving adventure!

Day 3: Dive into Coral Reefs

On the third day, we will reconvene at the academy at the same hour. Once assembled, we will travel via car to the outskirts of Tulum, specifically to Casa Cenote—a location adjacent to the Caribbean Sea. Envision yourself diving in this revered site, significant to the ancient Mayan culture!

This day involves a total of four dives, where we will explore both the cenote and the surrounding reefs, descending to depths of 18 meters (60 feet).

The duration of these activities will also be within the five to six-hour range. By the end of these sessions, we will return to the academy, where you will receive your international diving certificate—and just like that, you are now a certified diver!
