Begin your cultural journey through Bali after hotel pickup at the designated time. You will travel from Batubulan to Kintamani, exploring the island's diverse facets of life and culture.
Your adventure commences in the village of Batubulan, where you will witness a performance of the renowned Barong and Kris dance. This classical 12th-century narrative showcases the ongoing struggle between good and evil, encapsulating the spirituality and artistic expression of Balinese culture. The vibrant costumes worn by the dancers will also be a sight to behold.
Next, immerse yourself in the daily life of a small Balinese village by visiting a typical home in Singapadu. Following this, your journey continues to Bedulu, where you'll explore Goa Gajah, known as the Elephant Cave. This temple, dating back to the 9th century, is a key pilgrimage site in Bali, notable for its blend of Hindu and Buddhist religious symbols.
Along the way, you will enjoy Bali's enchanting tropical landscapes. A highlight of the tour is the opportunity to see the remarkable sloping rice terraces in Tegalalang. These historic paddy fields, which date back to the 9th century, exhibit an ingenious sustainable water management system.
