Activity Overview

At the scheduled time, we will gather at the port of Ouranopoli. Awaiting us will be a glass-bottomed vessel, ready to launch our exploration of this awe-inspiring landscape.

Once everyone is on board, we’ll drop anchor and navigate towards Mount Athos. As we approach the peninsula, we will begin to traverse the coastline of this rugged area, revealing its remarkable monasteries—a perfect opportunity for photography enthusiasts!

From the water, you will get to see some of the most notable landmarks, including the monasteries of Chilandariou, Dochiariou, and Xenophontos.

Afterward, we will set our sights on Alkyles beach, located on the western shore of the island of Ammouliani. It’s a slice of paradise! Here, you will have 2.5 hours to explore at your own pace. Options abound, from renting a hammock on the beach to snorkeling, sunbathing, or simply soaking in the picturesque surroundings. In the event that Alkyles beach is inaccessible, we will instead visit the island's main town, Ammouliani.

Our journey will conclude with a return to the port of Ouranopoli, approximately 5 hours later.

Alkyles Beach Information

It is important to note that visits to Alkyles Beach occur exclusively during the summer months. Outside of this season, we will instead make a stop at the village of Ammouliani.
