Tour Overview

At the arranged time, we'll collect you directly from your accommodation in Ushuaia and head towards the north. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, we will reach the trailhead where our hiking adventure begins. Here, you will experience an amazing trek through Tierra del Fuego.

On this journey, we will traverse a total distance of 10 km (6.2 miles), gaining 800 metres (2,640 feet) in elevation. Several stops will be made along the way, allowing us to appreciate the breathtaking scenery. Our first break, roughly an hour into the hike, will take us to the renowned Turquoise Lagoon.

Ever wondered what gives this lagoon its distinctive color? We'll uncover its secrets while you capture picturesque moments and soak in the serenity of this remarkable natural setting. You'll truly enjoy this experience!

Following our time at the lagoon, we will continue our ascent towards the summit of Mount Carbajal. Reaching an altitude of 950 metres (3,110 feet), this vantage point is ideal for a picnic-style meal paired with a warm beverage, all while surrounded by magnificent mountain views.

We will then commence the descent through Ollum Valley, a region known for its abundant streams and vibrant plant life.

Finally, we will return to our vehicle for the journey back to Ushuaia. You can expect to arrive at your accommodation after approximately 6.5 hours.
