Your journey begins with a bus pickup from your hotel in Ushuaia, taking you to Llanos del Castor, a winter center nestled in the picturesque Tierra Mayor Valley, celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes within the Tierra del Fuego area.
Upon reaching the shelter, the adventure kicks off with a delightful snowshoeing trek, followed by an exhilarating ride on a snowmobile or quad. Both activities allow you to traverse the valley amidst the serene beauty of the winter night.
Next, you will discover the art of 'mushing'. This segment includes an insightful overview of sledges and the fascinating dynamics of this transportation method, led by energetic huskies.
Your experience culminates at the shelter, where you can savor a dinner featuring skewered meats, a hearty mountain stew, coffee, and a warming hot wine. The evening will be further enhanced by musical performances from the refuge staff, making it a memorable night.
After the meal, a bus will take you back to your Ushuaia hotel, wrapping up this unforgettable adventure approximately five hours after your initial pickup.
