Tour Overview
The itinerary will adapt based on the season:
Winter Itinerary (From May 1 to September 30)
At the arranged time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Ushuaia and transport you to the End of the World Station.
Here, those interested can embark on a 1-hour journey aboard the End of the World Train; please note that this ticket is not included in the tour price. Participants who prefer to stay on land have the option to wander the valley on foot, where the enchanting snow-laden scenery will surely leave a mark.
We will then reconvene with the group to hike through Tierra del Fuego National Park. This gentle trek will last around 2 hours, taking you through the captivating surroundings of Lake Acigami, Laguna Verde, and the Ovando River.
Upon reaching the banks of the Lapataia River, we’ll enjoy a 1-hour break at a climate-controlled restaurant for a delicious lunch. The meal features a starter of homemade pumpkin soup, followed by a main of Tierra del Fuego lamb stew, and dessert of brownie with berry sauce and mixed cream. You can choose between mineral water or Patagonian Malbec red wine to accompany your meal. We also offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free alternatives.
After our meal, we’ll kayak for 1 hour on the chilly waters of the Lapataia River, which leads into the beauty of Lapataia Bay. Should you prefer not to kayak, a vehicle will take you directly to the bay.
In conclusion, we’ll drive back to your hotel in Ushuaia from Lapataia Bay, marking the end of this 8-hour adventure.
Summer Itinerary (From October 1 to April 30)
We will pick you up at the designated time from your hotel in Ushuaia and begin our journey to Tierra del Fuego National Park.
Upon arrival, a 3-hour hike within the park awaits you. We will navigate trails of varying difficulty until we arrive at the banks of the Lapataia River. In a sheltered area, we will savor a delightful lunch. The menu features an appetizer with assorted cheeses, olives, mortadella, and marinated beans, followed by Tierra del Fuego lamb stew, brownie with red berry sauce and mixed cream for dessert, along with a choice of mineral water or Patagonian Malbec red wine. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are available as well.
After lunch, we will proceed to Lake Acigami for a 1-hour kayaking session to Lapataia Bay. If you’d prefer to skip paddling, a vehicle may take you directly to the bay.
