Curious about how León wines are crafted? We will begin this insight by meeting at the designated time at the shop of the Leyenda del Páramo winery, conveniently situated on the outskirts of Valdevimbre.

The tour kicks off with a stroll through the winery's vineyards. While we navigate through the rows of grapevines, you will learn about edaphology, a discipline that examines the soil's properties and their impact on plant growth. We will delve into the history of the Leyenda del Páramo brand and explore the wine-making traditions that define this area of León.

Following our vineyard excursion, we will head inside to the facilities of the winery. During this segment, you will gain insights into the various stages of wine creation as we view the barrel cellar, the bottling area, and the laboratory.

This enriching experience wraps up with a wine tasting session featuring two distinct wines: the renowned prieto picudo red, aged for 9 months in a barrel and referred to as El médico, and a crisp white wine made from albarín known as El aprendiz.

For those visiting with children, you can select a drink for them during the booking process. This option allows accompanying youngsters to enjoy either mineral water or must, to be chosen at the time of the tasting.
