Valencia Bike Tour
Description
Discover Valencia on two wheels. Experience the vibrant old town from a unique perspective as you cycle past the city’s key landmarks.
Tour Overview
The journey will commence at the Valencia Cathedral, located in Plaza de la Almoina. Here, we will hop on our bikes and begin our exploration of Valencia's core.
Over the course of three hours, we'll traverse the Mediterranean city, uncovering its significant sites such as the Plaza de la Virgen, the ancient Almoina Archaeological Museum, and the Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados. Along the way, we will delve into Valencia's history and share captivating anecdotes, including the establishment of the Tribunal of Waters.
Continuing our ride, we'll be awestruck by the stunning Palau de la Generalitat, dating back to the 15th century, which serves as the headquarters of the Generalitat Valenciana. Next, we will cycle through the old riverbed of the Turia until arriving at the magnificent City of Arts and Sciences, a remarkable cultural and architectural hub in Valencia.
Our next destination will be Puerta del Mar, crossing 'Las Flores' Bridge. As we pass by Plaza de Toros and the North Station (Estación del Norte), our guide will lead us to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, famous for the symbolic mascletá that takes place during the iconic Fallas festival.
Following this, we will visit the well-known Central Market and the historic Silk Exchange, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally, we will return to the Valencia Cathedral, concluding our three-hour cycling adventure.
