Description

The Principe Felipe Science Museum stands as a striking structure within the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia, a visionary complex brought to life by the architect Santiago Calatrava.

Your admission to the museum grants you access to a permanent science exhibition. Each room features informative panels designed to provide clear and enjoyable insights, allowing you to explore science in an enjoyable manner.

On the first floor, discover the chemistry in action and invisible science exhibits, where you'll encounter fascinating experiments. Ascend to the second floor to find the "science showcase", which features an impressive 15-meter tall sculpture. You’ll be amazed by the life-sized depiction of the structure of deoxyribonucleic acid. It's hard to believe how large DNA can appear!

The third floor is dedicated to the legacy of science, highlighting the achievements of renowned Spanish scientists such as Santiago Ramón y Cajal, Severo Ochoa, and Santiago Grisolía.

Science Museum + Oceanographic or Hemispheric

While making your reservation, you can opt to pair your visit to the Science Museum with either the Oceanographic or the Hemispheric. The operating hours for each venue are as follows:

The Oceanographic is open daily except on Saturdays, from 10 am to 6 pm, and until 8 pm on Saturdays. Last entry is one hour before the scheduled closing time.

The Hemispheric operates Sunday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Saturdays, from 10 am to 8 pm. The final admission is one hour before closing.

Please keep in mind that the combined tickets are only valid for the selected date of your reservation, meaning all visits must happen on the same day.

If you decide to include the Hemispheric in your itinerary, you will have the chance to specify the projection you wish to see during the booking process.
