Once in the designated area for this extraordinary tomato fight, the trucks release their cargo, and participants are invited to collect tomatoes from the ground to commence the fun. The scene transforms into a vibrant tapestry of red as it envelops the streets and the people.

This festivity is meticulously organized, adhering to essential safety guidelines to ensure a smooth experience:

• Tomatoes must be squished prior to being tossed.
• Bringing bottles, bags, or any hard items into the area is prohibited. Only tomatoes may be thrown.
• Participants should not rip or damage each other’s clothing.
• Trucks must be allowed to pass without obstruction.
• When the closing bell rings, all throwing must cease immediately.

After the chaos of the tomato fight concludes, the local fire department efficiently cleans the streets using high-pressure hoses, returning the town to its original state as if the event never occurred.

Day Tour to La Tomatina from Valencia
