Tour of Concejo Bodegas
Our gathering will take place at 11:30 am at the Concejo Bodegas, situated just outside the historic heart of Valoria La Buena. Are you ready to uncover the remarkable wines from the Valladolid region?
The adventure begins with a guided tour of the organic vineyards nestled in the Pisuerga countryside. Throughout the tour, we will discuss the various methods employed for vine cultivation and examine the diverse grape varieties that thrive in this area.
Following the vineyard tour, a brief video presentation will provide insights into the heritage of the Concejo wineries and the family legacy that supports this brand. Did you know that wine production in Valoria La Buena dates back to the 12th century? It’s said the Catholic Monarchs celebrated their wedding with wine from this region!
Concluding the visit, we will head to the winery's restaurant for a wine tasting, where you'll have the opportunity to savor the Carredueñas Rosado, Burro Loco Tinto, and Carredueñas Crianza Selección. These exceptional wines will be complemented by three delightful tapas, featuring ingredients such as cured sheep's cheese, cecina (cured meat), foie gras, and tuna with onions. A true delight for your palate!
Our experience will wrap up at the Concejo winery at 1 pm.
