Activity Overview

Our journey begins at the arranged meeting point located at the intersection of Avenida 1 and Calle 62. From there, we will stroll through the Boulevard shopping district. Amidst vibrant terraces and market stalls, we'll seek out a charming art gallery to gain insight into the cultural movements that characterize the resort area of Varadero.

Our next destination is the Casa del Tabaco, where you'll witness the process of crafting the renowned Cuban cigar and uncover the secrets behind its exceptional quality. Following this, we'll head to the Casa del Café to explore the unique aspects of Cuba’s coffee cultivation while enjoying a flavorful cup of coffee.

We'll make a brief stop at a local art gallery before proceeding to the Varadero Museum, also referred to as the Varadero Landmarks Interpretation Centre. After perusing its exhibition spaces, we'll move towards the main beach of Varadero, where you can indulge in tasting four different varieties of Cuban rum paired with chocolate—a true delight for the senses!

Invigorated by the flavors of rum and chocolate, we'll make our way to the Parque Josone. As we stroll through its lush gardens, you'll learn about the intriguing history behind this location. Did you know that its name is derived from the joined names of a love-struck couple?

Following this, it’s time to embark on a horse-drawn carriage that will be ready for us at the park's exit. For the next hour, we'll traverse the primary avenues of Varadero, enjoying the picturesque coastal views until we arrive at a supply warehouse.

We'll then continue our journey in the carriage to the Parador Fotográfico de Varadero. Here, you will have the opportunity to capture stunning photographs with the Atlantic Ocean as your backdrop. We’ll also pass by the oldest house in the historical district. Our next stop will be at Bar Benny, where you may unwind with a refreshing traditional Cuban cocktail. Finally, we’ll conclude at the craft fair, a perfect place to find a memorable souvenir.
