At the appointed time, our team will collect you from your hotel in Vila Pouca de Aguiar, setting off towards Chaves. Upon arrival, we will proceed to its medieval fortress, where you can appreciate its stunning facade, highlighted by the prominent Tower of Homage.

We will then visit the exterior of the forts of São Francisco and São Neutel, essential strongholds that historically protected the city during the 17th century.

Our journey continues to the remarkable Roman bridge of Trajan, named after the first Hispanic emperor. You’ll be intrigued to learn that its arches have flawlessly withstood the test of time since the Roman era. Nearby, you can also explore Estrada Nacional 2 and its famous Kilometre 0, where we will share insights about its significance while capturing some memorable photos.

Next, we will explore the Roman thermal baths, renowned for their medicinal waters, which are among the warmest available in Europe.

After approximately three hours of discovery, we will head back to Vila Pouca de Aguiar and return you to your hotel.
