If you're in Vila Real de Santo António, you can't miss this boat trip on the Guadiana River, an essential way to experience the waters that separate Spain and Portugal! At the scheduled time, we will meet at the town's quay to board the boat and set sail.

Once everyone is on board, we'll enjoy the captivating views of the Guadiana River, featuring its stunning landscapes and riverside villages.

After approximately 2 hours of cruising, we will disembark in the charming village of Foz de Odeleite. Here, a guided walking tour will allow us to explore its historically rich streets—this village feels like a snapshot of the past!

Lunch at Quinta do Rio

After discovering the delights of Foz de Odeleite, it's time to nourish ourselves. We will head to Quinta do Ria, an estate overlooking the Guadiana River and Foz de Odeleite, to enjoy a scrumptious typical Portuguese lunch. Before the meal, you can take a moment to cool off in the swimming pools, providing a relaxing break.

We'll be served a complete meal that includes fresh cheeses, Serra soup, Algarve salad, barbecued chicken, and steamed potatoes, among the house’s specialties. This will be accompanied by homemade bread, seasonal fruit, and a choice of water, white wine, or red wine. Additionally, the menu can accommodate various dietary needs, including intolerances, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as meals for children.

To enhance this experience, we will enjoy live music during lunch, creating a lively and joyous atmosphere.

After approximately 3 hours, and with satisfied appetites, we will return to the boat and head back to the starting point, concluding our day after a total of 8 hours.
