Nahuel Huapi National Park Kayak Tour
Description
On this kayak tour in Nahuel Huapi National Park, paddlers will navigate the stunning waters at the foot of the Patagonian Andes, exploring Nahuel Huapi, Espejo Grande, and Correntoso lakes. A picnic on a secluded beach forms part of this unique experience!
Tour Details
Participants will meet at either the Bahía Mansa or the Bahía Brava piers, situated on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Prepare for an adventure!
Before the kayaking begins, there will be a preparation phase for the kayaks and safety equipment. An initial briefing will cover paddling techniques and outline the planned route. Then participants will embark on a journey across glacial waters that are so clear they seem to blend with the sky.
Paddling alongside the majestic silhouette of the Patagonian Andes, guests will pass through forests of coihue and lenga trees that touch the shore. For a few hours, the group will explore tranquil bays, small islands, and geological rock walls that narrate the history of Nahuel Huapi National Park.
After a scenic exploration, a break of 45 minutes will be taken on a hidden beach, accessible only by kayak. Here, participants can unwind in nature while enjoying a picnic featuring fruits, pastries, nuts, and both hot and cold beverages—truly a well-deserved treat!
Once refreshed, the return journey to the starting point will commence, culminating in a total of 4 hours of kayaking adventure with farewells exchanged at the end.

You should wear closed-toe shoes and bring a small backpack with extra clothing.
In summer, it’s important to bring sunglasses, a cap, water, and sunscreen. You can bring a swimsuit and towel if you’d like to swim at the beach where we’ll have the picnic.
