Selecting any ticket option grants you access to a special deal on bike rentals: rent a bike for one hour at a cost of 8 USD and receive an additional hour for free. Bikes can be collected from the Unlimited Biking Washington DC office located at 998 Maine Avenue SW, Washington DC 20024.

Ticket Options

You have several choices to customize your bus journey to suit your visit:

• 24-hour ticket for the red line: enjoy the red line for a continuous 24 hours.
• 24-hour ticket for both lines: provides unlimited access to the Big Bus services on both red and blue lines for a full 24 hours, along with a walking tour.
• 24-hour ticket for the red line + Watertaxi: experience the red line for 24 hours, plus a scenic watertaxi ride along the Potomac River, allowing you to visit locations like The Wharf, Georgetown, and Old Town Alexandria.
• 48-hour ticket: offers unlimited Big Bus service for 48 hours (covering both lines) and includes a walking tour of the city.
• 72-hour ticket: allows unlimited use for 72 hours (for both lines), with the same benefits as the 48-hour option.

How Does it Work?

Your ticket will be valid for 24, 48, or 72 consecutive hours beginning from the first use. You can board and exit the buses as many times as desired, making it easy to explore the prominent monuments of Washington, DC, at your own pace.

When booking, a date must be specified; however, the ticket remains valid for 12 months from that date. Following your booking, a voucher will be sent via email. To start your adventure, present the voucher at the initial stop along the route, as indicated in the temporary closures and schedules section.
