Our journey begins at the designated meeting point located near the Willemstad cruise port. From there, we will embark on an extensive tour of this captivating capital, steeped in rich Dutch heritage and infused with the island's dynamic artistic scene.

We will kick off our adventure in the Otrobanda district, situated in the historical core of the city. Here, you will be enchanted by the colorful colonial architecture while uncovering the stories behind this neighborhood, which serves as the cultural and residential heart of Willemstad.

As we wander through its winding streets adorned with impressive graffiti, particularly around Frederikstraat, our next stop will be Fort Waakzaamheid. This historical fortification provides breathtaking panoramic vistas of both the cityscape and the sea.

Our tour will then lead us to the Scharloo district. In this area, we will admire the beautifully restored mansions that have earned designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

While in this part of Curaçao's capital, a highlight will be the iconic Wedding Cake House, renowned for its distinct architectural style. Following this, we will visit the Landhuis Chobolobo, a former plantation house transformed into a distillery for the national liqueur, Blue Curaçao. During our time here, you'll partake in a tasting of this exquisite spirit, accompanied by insights into its storied background on the island.

Feeling hungry? We will take a break at Plasa Bieu, where you can relish a meal from local delicacies at your leisure. After this delightful pause, we will resume our journey at Mercado Redondo, the largest and most celebrated market in the city. Nestled in the historic Punda district, this market is bustling with stalls selling an array of fresh fruits, spices, and artisanal crafts—no doubt, you'll find something wonderfully enticing!

In closing our tour, we will explore Parke Lucha pa Libertat, a quaint park situated on John F. Kennedy Boulevard that pays homage to the island's rich cultural heritage, resilience, and historical struggle against slavery. This moment will serve as a fitting conclusion to our exploration.

After approximately 4 hours of discovery, we will return to the original meeting point for farewells.

The tour kicks off at the Willemstad Cruise Terminal (Curaçap Cruise Terminal). For those coming by cruise ship, we suggest gathering at the pier. If you're not arriving in Willemstad via a cruise, we will convene at Mega Pier Gate #2.
