Activity Overview

Your adventure begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your Zanzibar hotel, followed by a transfer to the airport. Here, you will board a flight that will take you directly to Mikumi National Park, Tanzania's fourth-largest national park, in a swift hour and a half.

Once you arrive, you'll jump into an off-road vehicle to kick off your exhilarating safari across the reserve. Accompanied by a wildlife expert guide, you'll receive assistance in spotting various animals while learning fascinating facts about the local savannah ecosystem.

Mikumi National Park is renowned for its remarkable biodiversity. Prepare to traverse its expansive plains as we search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and lions, among other captivating species. Have your cameras ready to capture wildlife in their natural environment.

At lunchtime, we'll pause for an authentic bush meal surrounded by nature, providing a unique outdoor dining experience amidst the beauty of the African savannah.

Reenergized, we will resume our safari, venturing into additional areas of the park in pursuit of more native wildlife. Each moment promises potential surprises, whether it's spotting large herds grazing or exotic birds soaring above.

By 2:30 PM, the safari will come to an end, and we'll make our way back to the airstrip for the return flight to Zanzibar. Upon landing back on the island, we will ensure your transport back to your hotel, concluding a total of 12 hours of enriching adventure.
