Description

For those eager to indulge in the rich culinary scene of Zaragoza, this tapas tour presents an ideal opportunity. Merging historical insights with gastronomy, you will wander through the old town while savoring the city's most beloved tapas.

Tour Overview

At the designated time, we will gather at Plaza de San Felipe. Once the group is assembled, our journey through Zaragoza's tapas scene will begin. Are you prepared to uncover the culinary delights of Aragon’s capital?

From our initial meeting spot, we will discuss the nearby Renaissance palaces and appreciate several landmarks, including a museum, an exhibition venue, a church, and some 18th-century residences that narrate the city’s past.

Following this introduction, we will proceed to the Montal building, where we will delve into the story behind the lost Torre Nueva, once a prominent symbol of Zaragoza, while sampling an artichoke tapa in its cellars. A delightful treat for your palate awaits!

Next, we will make our way to the bustling El Tubo district, the vibrant core of tapas culture in Zaragoza, renowned for its energetic ambiance and numerous bars. Here, at the well-known Corral de la Delfina restaurant, you will enjoy the signature “Guardia Civil” tapa, crafted with toasted bread, extra virgin olive oil, and a medley of other exquisite flavors.

Our final stop will be a contemporary food market, erected over the remnants of the ancient Roman gate, where we will relish a small rice dish with ternasco. All of this will be accompanied by views of the impressive Augusto de Primá Porta monument.

As we conclude the tour, with satisfied appetites and joyful spirits, we will part ways at Plaza de España after spending three hours on this flavorful exploration.
