Tour Details
We will convene at the time you prefer at La Garganta restaurant, situated in the quaint village of El Chorro, part of Alora. From here, a shuttle bus will take us on a brief 15-minute ride to the beginning of the renowned King's Little Pathway.
Upon arrival, we will enjoy a short walk through fragrant pine forests and Mediterranean flora before reaching our starting point. There, we'll don our safety helmets and embark on the unforgettable footbridges of the Caminito del Rey.
This adventure spans approximately 3.5 hours, allowing ample opportunity to take in the spectacular vistas of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes. As we navigate this captivating route, you will learn about its rich history, including its association with King Alfonso XIII, dating back to 1921 and the intriguing origin of its name.
During our journey, we will walk between towering rock cliffs that reach heights exceeding 300 meters (984 ft). From these dramatic vantage points, observe how the Guadalhorce River has sculpted the landscape over the ages.
