Recognized as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 2003, Úbeda and Baeza boast over 2000 years of history, showcasing a rich architectural legacy. This excursion unveils the churches and palaces that illustrate the grandeur of Jaén during the Renaissance period.
The guided tours for each city, Úbeda and Baeza, last approximately 2.5 hours. These are separate tours available from Tuesday to Sunday in the morning. Please be aware that guided tours do not occur on Sunday afternoons and Mondays, as all monuments are closed. Travelers should arrange their transportation to drive between the two cities.

In Baeza, we will explore the following highlights:
- Paseo de la Constitución: featuring the Torre de los Aliatares, Alhóndiga, and Balcón del Concejo.
- Ruins of San Francisco, Casa del Corregidor, and the historical prison.
- Plaza del Pópulo: we’ll pass by the Fuente de los Leones, the Old Butcher's Shops, Public Notaries, Civil Court, Jaén Gate, and Arch of Villalar.
- Barbican.
- Plaza de Santa María: which includes the Conciliar Seminary of San Felipe Neri, Fountain of Santa María, and Casas Consistoriales Altas.
- Cathedral.
- Paseo de Antonio Machado: where we’ll admire views of the Guadalquivir valley, Sierra Magina, and Sierra de Cazorla.
- Plaza de Santa Cruz: this area contains the Palace of Jabalquinto and the Church of Santa Cruz.
- Antigua Universidad: we’ll visit the Aula de Antonio Machado and the Paraninfo inside.
Meanwhile, in Úbeda, we’ll visit:
- Plaza 1º de Mayo: where we’ll see the Old Town Hall, Church of San Pablo, and the monument to San Juan de la Cruz.
- Plaza del Carmen: which includes the Church of San Miguel and the Oratory of San Juan de la Cruz.
- Palace of Francisco de los Cobos.
- Juan Vázquez de Molina Square: here we explore the interior of the Juan Vázquez de Molina Palace, Church of Santa María de los Reales Alcázares, Bishop's Prison, Palace of the Marquis of Mancera, Old Granary, Fountain of Francisco de los Cobos, Old Prison, and Palace of Deán Ortega.
- Sacred Chapel of El Salvador.

Operational Details
Each guided tour of Úbeda and Baeza typically lasts 2.5 hours and constitutes two distinct tours.
On Sundays after lunch and on Mondays, tours are unavailable due to the closure of some sites. Participants will need their own vehicle for transportation between the two cities.
Upon confirming your booking, you will receive instructions to collect your voucher in Úbeda and Baeza after completing your reservation.
From that point, you can partake in two guided tours in English, which can be scheduled in any order and at your convenience. You have the flexibility to complete them on the same day or on separate days within the morning and afternoon sessions offered.

Please note that there is a morning and an afternoon schedule, depending on the day you choose. The local tour company will get in touch with you to confirm the exact time of your guided visit, as it varies depending on the season or for organizational reasons.
How Does the Pass Work?
The voucher for Úbeda + Baeza includes guided tours of both cities which each last around 2.5 hours. They are independent tours. On Sunday afternoons and Mondays, no tours take place in either Úbeda or Baeza due to the closure of all the monuments. You can choose the order in which you want to visit the cities. You can do them on the same day or on different days within the two daily shifts available, in the morning and in the afternoon.
The meeting point for both tours is at the office of each city. In order to activate the pass, you must go to one of the following offices at least 10 minutes before the start of the visit and provide your name and booking:
- In Úbeda: Calle Juan Montilla, 3.
- In Baeza: Plaza de los Leones
Transport Info
Please note that this tour does not include transportation from one city to the other. To get to the different points where the tours begin, you will have to travel on your own.

- The voucher is free for children under 7 years old.
- On some occasions and for reasons beyond our control, the interior of some buildings will be closed and we'll not be able to access them.
