The Abu Dhabi sightseeing bus (Big Bus Tours) offers a way to explore the city in a comfortable and practical manner. The double-decker open-top bus visits the city's main attractions, allowing you to get on and off at any of the stops, providing the flexibility to discover Abu Dhabi at your own pace.
Routes and stops
The Abu Dhabi Hop-On Hop-Off bus operates on 2 distinct two-hour routes, covering over 20 stops located near the main tourist attractions in the city. As you travel, enjoy English-language commentary about the sights you pass.
Notable stops include Heritage Village, Corniche Road, and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Additionally, you can visit the renowned Ferrari World theme park.

Options
- 1-day ticket: Includes unlimited access to the Big Bus service for one day.
- 2-day ticket + Sheikh Zayed Mosque + Louvre Abu Dhabi: Offers bus access for 2 days, along with a mosque tour and admission to the Louvre Abu Dhabi museum.
- 2-day ticket + Sheikh Zayed Mosque + Presidential Palace + Louvre Abu Dhabi: In addition to the previous benefits, this option includes a tour of the Presidential Palace.
How does it work?
The ticket is valid for 1 or 2 consecutive days from the first use. During this period, you may hop on and hop off the buses as often as desired to explore iconic locations in Abu Dhabi.
Although you will need to specify a start date when reserving, you can use the service within twelve months after that date. After booking, a voucher will be sent to you, which must be presented upon boarding your first bus.
Timetable and frequency
- Red line (city tour): operates from 9 am to 5 pm, with a bus arriving every hour. The complete route takes approximately one and a half hours.
- Green line (Yas Island tour): has two daily departures at 12 pm and 2:30 pm. The comprehensive tour lasts around one hour and 40 minutes.

Although when making the reservation you'll be asked for a start date, you can use the service over the twelve months following the start date. When you have made your reservation, we'll send you a voucher you must hand in on the first bus you get on.
