Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel as we proceed eastward. After approximately two hours of travel, we will arrive at the Bateshwar archaeological site.

Situated alongside the Yamuna River, this site features a complex of more than two hundred temples honoring the major deities of Hinduism, namely Shiva, Vishnu, and Kali. You will discover the history of these sacred sites, some of which remain in a state of ruin due to an abandonment that spans over six centuries.

As we tour the temples of Bateshwar, you will witness the restoration efforts focused on these structures, constructed between the 8^th and 10^th centuries. You will stroll between the temples and ruins, taking in the unique characteristics of each shrine. From the elevated terraces, revel in the panoramic views of the Bateshwar temples, which encompass an area of ten hectares.
