Around the scheduled time, our guide will collect you from your accommodation in Amman, and together we'll embark on our journey towards Bethany, positioned alongside the Jordan River. This revered pilgrimage location, adjacent to the Israeli border, features several churches representing various Christian traditions. Commonly referred to as Jordan beyond the River, it holds historical significance as the site where John the Baptist performed the baptism of Jesus Christ.

Our exploration will last one hour, during which we will navigate through the ancient ruins of the Byzantine churches, constructed to honor this sacred area, as well as visit the exact location of Jesus' baptism. This includes a visit to the Jordan River, allowing you a moment to touch the waters that are central to both Judaism and Christianity.

As we continue our day trip, we will head south toward the Dead Sea, situated over 1,400 feet (430 meters) below sea level. You’ll enjoy 2 hours of leisure time to swim in the lake and discover the unique phenomenon of buoyancy, as the high salt concentrations make it impossible to sink.

Ultimately, our private tour will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel in Amman, having spent between 6 and 7 hours immersed in exploration.
