Starting from your hotel in Arequipa, you'll embark on this unique adventure at 6:30 am: the Loncco Route. Prepare to explore natural wonders and hidden gems of Peru that are just as captivating. Let’s set off on this exploration!

Your first destination will be the village of Quequeña, where we'll visit the Martyrs' Museum, established during the Peru-Chile war, and see the ancient petroglyphs of Guayalopo and Curlaca, which date back over 1500 years.

As we travel, you will learn about the Loncco, a traditional character from Arequipa renowned for his unique identity—a fascinating discovery awaits you!

Next, we’ll head to the Soncomarca Hill viewpoint to enjoy sweeping views of the Arequipa terraces, and you will have an opportunity to visit the church of Quequeña. Continuing along the Loncco Route, we’ll explore Sogay with its charming palm-lined square. The town is also known for its ashlar houses that beautifully sit on hillside terraces overlooking the Yarabamba River.

Our journey will then take us to Uzuña lagoon, nestled within Polobaya's landscape. Here, at the base of a volcanic mountain range, you'll have the chance to engage in activities like boat rides, kayaking, or sport fishing. After this, you'll have some leisure time to have lunch at your convenience.

As we proceed to Mollebaya, a settlement where remnants of the Aillus community and curacazgo can be found, we’ll enjoy a brief stroll through its historical center, visiting the communal batán, an old textile processing machine. We will also explore Characato, noted for its square and church featuring impressive water springs.

Moving on, we’ll admire key landmarks in Sabandía, including the church of the Virgen del Rosario and the mill, a 17th century structure made from typical ashlar stone.

Ultimately, we’ll conclude our tour with a return to Arequipa, finishing near the Plaza de Armas around 5 pm.
