Day Trip to Temaiken Zoo

Escape the lively atmosphere of Buenos Aires and explore a remarkable natural environment. Temaiken Zoo is a sanctuary for animals from various regions and hosts distinctive plant species!

Excursion to Temaiken Zoo

We will pick you up from your Buenos Aires hotel between 8:45 and 9:45 am and head towards Temaiken Zoo (Bioparque Temaikèn). The trip takes approximately 50 minutes, leading us to this extraordinary habitat dedicated to the conservation of various species and ecosystems.

Upon arrival, we will stroll through the paths and discover the unique native plants and exotic flora. Our first destination will be the aquarium, featuring one million liters of Argentinian sea water! Are you eager to see some of the most exotic fish? Here, you'll encounter species from the Caribbean and the Amazon, among others!

Next, we will visit La Chacra, a farmyard area showcasing typical Argentinian animals such as cows, chickens, and goats. Additionally, there’s an orchard with 28 varieties of vegetables. Where better to gain insight into Argentinian agricultural practices?

Continuing our exploration, we will make our way to the aviary section, home to over 2,500 bird species from around the world. Can you identify them all?

We will then enjoy a 360º documentary film that takes us through the history of nature over time, providing a captivating conclusion to our visit.

After eight hours of adventure in the fascinating zoo, we will head back to Buenos Aires and drop you off at a designated location. You can select from various drop-off points: Puerto Madero, Galerías Pacífico, Avenida de Córdoba & Pellegrini, Avenida de Córdoba & Cerrito, Cerrito & Juncal, Cerrito & Corrientes, 9 de julio & Avenida de Mayo, or Corrientes & Florida.
