Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup at the agreed time, followed by our journey towards Bongará, situated to the north of Chachapoyas.

After approximately two hours on the road, we will reach the district of Cuispes, where a gentle hike awaits us. This walk lasts around an hour and a half, taking us to an altitude of 895 meters (2936 feet), allowing for exploration of the area's vibrant biodiversity along the way.

This protected region boasts a variety of wild flora, including orchids, bromeliads, and passion flowers, along with mammal sightings such as the spectacled bear and possums. Additionally, it is home to 223 bird species, including the endangered spatula-tailed hummingbird.

Upon completing our hike, we will reach the stunning Yumbilla waterfall, which cascades down 895 meters (29376 feet). Recognized by the World Waterfall Database, it ranks as the second-tallest waterfall in Peru, and fifth globally, offering a remarkable sight.

You will have leisure time to relax in this breathtaking environment, capture photographs, and soak in the beauty of nature. After enjoying this natural paradise, we'll head back to Cuispes for a delightful regional lunch.

Following our meal, we will make our way back to Chachapoyas, with an estimated return to your hotel about 7 hours after the initial pickup.
