Dientes de Navarino Hike

Your adventure begins at 9 am, with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Puerto Williams. From there, we will travel to the starting point of the Dientes de Navarino hiking circuit.

Once we arrive, a brief orientation will precede our trek into the world's southernmost forests. Here, we will explore the unique characteristics of the trees, shrubs, and grasses that flourish in this isolated Andean-Patagonian woodland.

As we delve deeper into the local flora and search for endemic bird species, we will ascend a hill nestled in the heart of Navarino Island. Reaching the summit will reward us with magnificent views of Puerto Williams and the Beagle Channel.

We will stop to capture a moment next to the prominent Chilean flag that waves proudly at the peak before continuing our trek along the Dientes de Navarino route, leading us to the summit of the Ukika-Róbalo ridge, which rises to an impressive altitude of 2,985 feet (910 metres).

After enjoying the panoramic vistas from the ridge, we will descend to a tranquil spot for a delightful picnic lunch featuring local treats and a refreshing beer. Following our meal, we will make our way back to the trailhead, concluding our experience with a drive back to Puerto Williams. Expect to be dropped off at your hotel by 4 pm. Until next time!
