PADI Open Water Course
Orientation Day
On this initial day, you'll connect with your instructor in the evening to finalize all essential documentation and receive your diving manual. The group will also watch an introductory video, giving a glimpse into the world of PADI diving.
Day 1: Theoretical Learning + Confined Water Practice
The morning kicks off with the group suiting up to enter the pool for some fundamental exercises. This session aims to build your confidence as you familiarize yourself with the setup and use of diving equipment.
Following the practical session, the emphasis will shift to the theoretical aspect of the PADI Open Water Diver course. The classroom instruction will equip you with the necessary knowledge to navigate through the water smoothly.
Day 2: Theory + Shallow Open Water Practice (12 m / 40 ft)
Are you ready to dive into action? After a subsequent classroom session and a quiz to evaluate your theoretical understanding of diving, it's off to the boat! This day is dedicated to applying the knowledge gained, as the group undertakes two open water dives at a maximum depth of 12 meters or 40 feet.
Day 3: Open Water Dives (18 m / 60 ft)
On the final day, we will set sail once more at dawn to complete the last pair of open-water dives.
Throughout these pivotal days, you will acquire vital skills such as equipment setup, buoyancy control, mask clearing, and assisting fellow divers in case of an air shortage, among other crucial open-water diving techniques. Upon successful completion of all required tasks, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver certificate!
