Why Ride the Rocky Top Mountain Coaster?
The Rocky Top Mountain coaster runs over the Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge, covering more than 8 hectares (19.7 acres) with tunnels, curves, and 360-degree turns. It reaches speeds up to 45 km per hour (30 mph) and is one of the longest roller coasters in Tennessee. The 9-minute ride includes 4 lifts and drops for an exciting experience. For a unique experience, consider riding at night when the rails are illuminated with light effects.
Opening Times
Rocky Top's opening times are:
- Sunday to Thursday: 10 am to 11 pm
- Friday and Saturday: 10 am to 12 am-midnight

Rocky Top Mountain Coaster is open at the following times:
- Sunday to Thursday: 10 am to 11 pm.
- Friday and Saturday: 10 am to 12 am-midnight
