Around dawn, you will be collected from your accommodation in Florianópolis and transported to the beginning of an excursion that takes you to two of Brazil's most intriguing locations. After a scenic two-hour drive along the coastline, we will enter Santa Catarina, arriving first at Blumenau.

Upon arrival, we will take a leisurely walk along the banks of the Itajaí-Açú River. Here, the architecture will evoke the charm of a traditional German village, reflecting the heritage of the German settlers in this area who aimed to recreate their customs and traditions in Brazil.

Next, we will explore the Beer Garden, reminiscent of a classic German biergarten, along with a visit to the Blumenau City Hall and the Metropolitan Cathedral. We will also venture into Vila Germânica Park, a vibrant hub of German culture. During our time here, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a meal, selecting between regional Brazilian dishes or authentic German cuisine, depending on your preference.

Following our time in Blumenau, we will proceed to the neighboring town of Pomerode, often recognized as the most German town in Brazil for similar reasons to Blumenau. Pomerode stands out with its remarkable concentration of North German architecture.

During our visit, we will admire the iconic buildings that showcase this architectural style, including the Portal de Pomerode, the Schmidt Porcelain Factory, the Zoo, and Vila Encantada. You'll have the chance to enjoy some free time in Pomerode to visit a craft brewery and partake in a beer tasting, should you wish.

Concluding our tour of Pomerode, we will journey back to Florianópolis, ensuring your safe return to your hotel.
