Embark on a journey to explore the enchanting landscapes of Ponta Delgada, Arco de São Jorge, and São Vicente, renowned destinations in the northern region of Madeira.

Tour of Northern Madeira Island

Our adventure commences at 9 am with a pick-up from your accommodation in Madeira, leading us to the northernmost section of the island.

The first stop will be the charming town of São Vicente, celebrated for its remarkable volcanic caves, nestled at the mouth of the Ribeira Grande.

Continuing our exploration, we will visit the scenic village of Ponta Delgada, where the historic Senhor Bom Jesus Church awaits, dating back to the 15th century. Following this, we'll proceed to the quaint village of Arco de São Jorge, where you’ll have a leisure period of two hours to enjoy lunch.

Once recharged, our journey will take us to Cabanas de São Jorge, where breathtaking views of Madeira's northern coastline await. Next, we'll discover a local sugar mill in Porto da Cruz, which has been continuously operating since 1927.

Our route will then lead us to the viewpoint at Pico do Facho, offering stunning panoramas of Machico and Ponta de São Lourenço. We will conclude our tour in Santa Cruz, one of Madeira's oldest villages.

At approximately 5 pm, we will return you to your hotel in Madeira.
