Matanuska Glacier Ice Climbing

15 minutes before the indicated time, we'll meet at the NOVA Alaska Guides Office, located at the following address: 38100 Glenn Hwy, Glacier View, AK 99674, USA (https://maps.app.goo.gl/qi1N86CVn73C4HGn9).

Admission Not Included

The entrance fee for the Matanuska Glacier is not included and costs 55USD for adults, 25USD for children aged 13 to 16, 30USD for residents, military personnel and those aged 65 and over, and is free for children under 13.

Important Info

• Please note that, for the use of boots and crampons, the minimum shoe size is 38 for men (5 US men) and 35 for women (4.5 US women). The maximum size is 49 (14 US men).
• The maximum weight allowed for this activity is 113 kg (249 lb), and the minimum weight is 45 kg (99 lb).
• No prior experience of ice climbing is required.
• We'll carry out a brief, compulsory balance test before setting off. This simple exercise will help the guide to assess the participants’ mobility and stability
