Our journey begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Guadalajara, followed by a drive towards Tequila. Along the way, we will make a stop at the expansive agave fields in Amatitán. Here, you’ll witness a demonstration of the traditional methods used for agave harvesting. Curious to learn more about this fascinating process? You'll find out soon!

Continuing our trip, we will reach the origin of Mexico’s most celebrated spirit after about an hour on the road. Upon arrival, we will stroll through the picturesque cobbled streets of Tequila, a charming village nestled amidst hills and agave plantations. Discover the rich history of the area and the notable spirit produced from blue agave. Interestingly, this region was recognized as a World Heritage Site in 2006, celebrating the stunning beauty of its agave landscapes.

Post tour, you will have free time to savor a leisurely lunch at one of the delightful restaurants in Tequila. Indulge in local dishes while you relax and immerse yourself in the tranquil ambiance of this lovely colonial town.

Our adventure continues with a visit to a distillery, specifically José Cuervo’s La Rojeña. Here, you will gain insights into the history of tequila and the meticulous steps involved in its production, from the harvesting of the agave to its aging in oak barrels. At the conclusion of the tour, you will participate in a tequila tasting, allowing you to appreciate authentic Mexican tequila fully.
