What Does It Include?

The Kansai Area Pass travel card provides unlimited access to Osaka's complete network of trains and buses. This includes the express train linking Kansai airport with the city centre.

Additionally, the travel pass allows you to visit other cities in Japan, such as Kyoto, Kobe, Himeji, and Nara, all within a one-and-a-half-hour train journey. For a detailed view of the main stops and stations on Osaka's public transport network, refer to the maps below:

Furthermore, the 5-day pass includes the ferry to Miyajima and the train to Hiroshima.

How Does It Work?

The Kansai Area Pass allows for unlimited use of Osaka's trains and buses (except expressway buses) for 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 consecutive days. Activation of the travel card is straightforward; just present your voucher and passport at the ticket offices in Kansai airport.

Important Info

• With each adult Kansai Area Pass, one child under 5 years old can travel for free.
• The card is not valid for the Shinkansen OR Limited Express Train or the Tokaido Shinkansen bullet trains (between Osaka and Kyoto).
• It is mandatory to carry your passport during every train journey in Osaka.
