On this boat trip, we’ll sail through the canyons of Lake Koman until we reach the impressive Shala River, known for its crystal-clear waters. It’s the perfect plan for nature lovers!

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the Lake Koman pier to board the boat that will take us through one of the most photogenic landscapes in Albania.

Unlike Lake Koman, which is an artificial reservoir, the Shala River is a natural watercourse that feeds the lake. It flows from the Albanian Alps and joins the reservoir.

During the journey to the river, which lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, you’ll be amazed by the majestic canyons and the mountain views reflected in the turquoise waters of Lake Koman. Did you know that this area is known as the Thailand of Albania because of its unspoilt natural surroundings? It’s easy to see why!

Once we arrive at the riverbank, you’ll have 3 hours of free time to enjoy this spectacular natural spot at your own pace. You can swim in its cool, crystal-clear waters, relax on the white pebble beaches, and even try some local dishes at the nearby food areas.

After this time, we’ll board the boat again to begin the return journey to the starting point, where we’ll say goodbye after a total of 7 hours.

You will embark on a boat ride that takes you through the stunning landscapes of Lake Koman to the Shala River, known for its clear waters. The journey lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, during which you will enjoy picturesque views. Upon reaching the river, you'll have 3 hours of free time to explore, swim, relax, or try local cuisine. The entire excursion lasts around 7 hours.
