Palace Visit Itinerary
15 minutes before the indicated time, you must present the voucher that you'll receive with your Civitatis confirmation, stating that the local tour operator is Golden Tours, at the ticket office of the Buckingham Palace Visitors Centre (Gate C). This place will be indicated with a sign saying: Visitors Entrance (Gate C).
At the ticket desk, you'll receive the palace ticket, which you must keep with you throughout your visit.
The Visitor's Entrance is located on the southern side of the palace, on Buckingham Palace Road.

How to arrive by public transport
The closest metro stations to Buckingham Palace are: Green Park (grey Jubilee line, dark blue Piccadilly line, and light blue Victoria line), Hyde Park Corner (dark blue Piccadilly line), St. James' Park (yellow Circle line and green District line) and Victoria (yellow Circle line, green District line and blue Victoria line).
Restrictions
- For security reasons, baby strollers and prams are not allowed into the State Rooms. They must be registered and left at the entrance for you to then pick up upon exiting later. Baby carriers are available for use during your visit.
- Mobile phones and other electronic devices such as tablets and music players must remain switched off during your visit.
- You are not permitted to take photographs inside Buckingham Palace.
People with reduced mobility
Manual wheelchairs are available, free of charge, for use during your visit. They are subject to availability. They must be reserved in advance by contacting the sales team on +44 303 123 7324.
Use of your own wheelchair is permitted, always provided that is compatible with the elevators in the Palace, one measuring 148 cm (58 inches) deep, and 94 cm (37 inches) wide, with a weight limit of 550 kg (78 stone), the other measuring 160 cm (63 inches) deep and 94 cm (37 inches) wide, with a weight limit of 750 kg (118 stone).
Mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs can be used inside the Palace as long as they are compatible with the elevators (please check the aforementioned measurements). For Class 3 vehicles, the speed limiter should be positioned at 4 mph. Walking frames are available for use, free of charge but subject to availability, for the duration of your visit. They must be booked by contacting the sales team on +44 303 123 7324.
Folding stools are also available for use, but cannot be reserved in advance and are subject to availability.
