Tour Description

We will gather at the specified time in the Porto Cauli Beach parking area and commence our expedition towards the Porto Flavia mine, a highlight of Sardinia's rich landscape.

Our itinerary includes a stroll along Masua Beach and the historic pier established in 1915, situated just a kilometer (approximately 0.6 miles) from our final location. Are you prepared to explore this extraordinary mining site overlooking the Mediterranean Sea?

As we enter the principal mine shaft, a guided exploration will unfold over the next hour, during which a knowledgeable guide will discuss the mine's significance to the local economy and share intriguing insights about its construction.

Midway through the tour, we will have the opportunity to ascend to a balcony offering breathtaking vistas of the ocean, providing a close-up look at the Sugarloaf Isle (Pan di Zucchero). This vantage point is ideal for capturing memorable photographs!

Following our exploration of the Porto Flavia mine, we will retrace our steps back to the starting point, concluding our adventure after approximately two and a half hours.
