Naples Monuments Tour + Royal Palace Visit

Tour Overview

We will commence our monumental exploration of Naples at Piazza del Municipio, right beside the Neptune Fountain.

Our first destination is the historic Castel Nuovo, often referred to as the Maschio Angioino. Following this, we will proceed to the Galleria Umberto I, named in honor of the Italian monarch. Here, we will delve into the historical significance and lasting impact of this king while we traverse the elegant gallery.

Continuing our route, we will arrive at the Teatro di San Carlo, celebrated as the oldest opera house globally. A notable aspect is its influence on the design of many theaters throughout Europe in subsequent years.

The next stop is the Plaza del Plebiscito, home to the magnificent Royal Palace of Naples. Inside, we will admire its splendid exterior and explore remarkable features such as the Palatine Chapel and the Hall of Hercules.

After our encounter with the Royal Palace, we will venture into the Santa Lucia district, Naples' oldest area. Following our insight into its background, the tour will conclude at the scenic seafront promenade, where we will view the iconic Castel dell’Ovo.
