After gathering at your chosen location, we will proceed to Padula, where the Certosa di San Lorenzo awaits. This remarkable monastery, inscribed as a World Heritage Site in 1998, is ready for exploration with a knowledgeable guide.

Upon arrival at the renowned Padula Charterhouse, we will start our visit by admiring the stunning Baroque façade, which exemplifies the architectural style pervasive throughout the structure, even as its construction commenced in the 14th century.

We'll then step inside the monastic grounds to explore a vast array of spaces—spanning an impressive 350 rooms! Among its many highlights is the Great Cloister, a magnificent area from the late 18th century that occupies 15,000 square meters.

Throughout the guided exploration of the Carthusian Monastery of Padula, we will encounter chapels and the church, where exquisite frescoes from the 16th and 18th centuries can be admired. In addition, we will visit workspaces such as the kitchens, cellars, and laundries. As you immerse yourself in this historical ambiance, envisioning the daily lives of the Carthusian monks becomes an intriguing experience.

At the conclusion of our four-hour excursion, we will return to Pisciotta, where you will be escorted back to your hotel or the meeting place.
