Your journey begins with a pick-up from your Praia hotel at 9 am, embarking on a scenic drive into the heart of Santiago. Along the way, we'll make a stop in Picos to taste the locally distilled grogue, a traditional white rum crafted from sugar cane. Don’t miss the chance to marvel at the majestic Pico de Antonia, the highest peak on the island.

Upon arriving in Assomada, you'll have the opportunity to roam through its bustling market, brimming with fresh fruits, vegetables, and seafood. Continuing our journey, we'll traverse the Serra de Malagueta Natural Park, leading us to the picturesque village of Tarrafal.

This charming fishing community is home to one of Cape Verde's most beautiful beaches. However, it also bears the weight of history, having once housed a concentration camp during World War II. At the Museum of the Resistance, we'll delve into this poignant chapter of the island's past.

Feeling hungry? It's time to savor a traditional lunch at a local restaurant in Tarrafal, featuring dishes such as fried fish, stuffed tuna or grouper, accompanied by vegetables, salad, water, and coffee. As you dine, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

After your meal, we will make our way back to Praia, navigating through stunning bays and serene beaches. By 5 pm, you will return to your accommodation, reflecting on a remarkable day spent exploring the wonders of Santiago.
