Trek in La Malinche National Park

Around the agreed time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Puebla and journey towards the state of Tlaxcala, making our way to La Malinche National Park. In approximately 1.5 hours, we will arrive at a lodge situated on the volcano's slopes, initiating a 10-hour hiking adventure.

Upon entering the park, we will head to a lodge positioned at an elevation of 3100 meters above sea level, where our hiking journey will commence. Are you prepared? We will ascend the mountainside, traversing through oyamel forests, conifers, and pine trees, encountering steep inclines of up to 45 degrees!

We'll take a moment to pause at an area known as Los Arenales, providing the opportunity to relax and take in the surrounding landscapes. From this vantage point, we will gain an impressive perspective of the La Malinche volcano summit.

As we embark on the final ascent, we will reach a height of 4461 meters, and if the weather permits, we may catch a glimpse of the stunning volcanic range: Citlaltépetl, Popocatépetl, and Iztaccíhuatl—a truly cinematic experience!

Afterward, we will descend back to the lodge, board our vehicle, and return to Puebla. We will part ways at your hotel after an enriching 13-hour journey.
