Tour Overview

We will gather at the designated location at the agreed time and embark on our journey to the Intiñán Solar Museum, which stands as one of the most captivating exhibits in the capital of Ecuador.

This museum, referred to as the Museum of Equinoctial Solar Culture, offers a remarkable opportunity to experience firsthand that we are at the Middle of the World. You will travel back in time through various experiments, games, and artifacts, gaining insights into the history of the ancient civilizations that inhabited this region of South America millions of years ago.

While exploring the Intiñán Solar Museum, we will enter centuries-old huts that showcase reconstructions of traditional items, allowing us to uncover what life was like thousands of years in the past! The visit will also include exploring the museum’s unique totemic forest.

To illustrate that Ecuador lies at Latitude Zero, we’ll attempt to balance eggs on our heads, make use of nails, and partake in other fascinating experiments that are exclusive to Quito. Prepare to be astonished!

No visit to the capital would be complete without capturing a moment at the city's most iconic landmark. After our museum tour, we will proceed to the renowned Mitad del Mundo monument. Following our exploration of the exterior of this impressive site, the tour will conclude.
