Join us on this exploratory walking tour of Rio Branco, where we will uncover the vibrant culture and traditions of Acre's capital while visiting its most significant landmarks.

Tour Overview

At the scheduled time, our adventure will commence at Rua Cunha Matos, marking the start of this guided exploration of Rio Branco, which delves into the rich history and attractions of this fascinating city.

Our first stop will feature a captivating gameleira, a tree native to the region, whose presence is reflected in many of Rio Branco's place names. Here, we'll also spot the Acre flag soaring overhead—a representation of the state's revolutionary heritage.

Continuing our journey, we will encounter significant sites such as Rua África, the Joaquim Macedo Catwalk, and Captain Park Ciríaco. Along the way, various noteworthy historical structures will provide insight into the origins of Rio Branco.

Among the notable locations we will visit are the Autonomists Memorial, Rio Bronco Palace, Our Lady of Nazareth Cathedral, and the Rubber Museum.

After 2-3 hours of insightful walking, we will conclude our guided exploration at the vibrant Praça da Revolução square.
