Barton Creek Adventure

Your day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in San Ignacio at 9 a.m. After a scenic 45-minute drive through the stunning Belizean landscape, you will encounter historical villages and arrive at the Barton Creek Mennonite farm, where the traditional lifestyle unfolds before you.

Navigating through picturesque valleys, we finally reach the Barton Creek River. Here, we will embark on canoes and set forth towards Barton Creek Cave. This enchanting site is believed to represent the Mayan underworld! As we glide into this magnificent limestone cave, you will paddle through various chambers showcasing crystallized formations and lofty caverns that soar up to 260 feet high.

Once we exit the cave, we will moor at the riverbank and leave our canoes behind. A delicious lunch awaits us, featuring rice, chicken, beans, and fried plantain.

Ultimately, we will make our way back to San Ignacio, where we will drop you off at your accommodation, concluding our adventure by 2 p.m.
