For those who thrive on adventure, the Cola de Pato Canyoning Experience promises an exhilarating journey into nature!
Activity Overview
At the scheduled time, you will be collected from your selected hotel in El Cibao. From this point, we will travel in a safari vehicle towards Cola de Pato, where we will embark on a memorable canyoning adventure.
Prepare to traverse rocky terrain, swim in vibrant turquoise pools, and leap off significant waterfalls like Las Palomas, Cola de Pato, and La Paja. At noon, we will take a break to enjoy a snack featuring local treats such as cheese and rodao, a delightful biscuit hailing from Jamao al Norte.
Once refreshed, we will dive back into our thrilling activity while discovering the lush rainforest. As the day unfolds, it’s time for lunch! By 2 pm, we will conclude our adventure with a traditional lunch that highlights the local cuisine.
Afterward, we will head back to the pickup point, anticipating our arrival between 6.5 to 10 hours after we set out.

When booking your experience, please choose the pick-up location that suits you:
- Tour from Puerto Plata: pickup at 6:30 am
- Tour from Sosúa: pickup at 8:00 am
- Tour from Cabarete: pickup at 8:30 am
- Tour from Jamao al Norte: pickup at 8:30 am
- Tour from Río San Juan: pickup at 8:30 am

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at the indicated time from your selected meeting point. Below, we remind you of the pickup times for each point:
- Tour from Puerto Plata: pickup at 6:30 am

- Tour from Río San Juan: pickup at 8:30 am
We recommend arriving at your chosen meeting point 10 minutes early.
We also recommend bringing swimwear, a hat, sun cream, water sandals and a change of clothes.
