Valle La Concepción Winery Tour

Your adventure begins at 8:30 am with a pick-up from your hotel in Tarija, launching us into the heart of the bodegas of Valle La Concepción. This region boasts a vibrant mix of industrial, artisanal, and boutique wineries, each with its charm!

As we head south into the wine-producing region, our first stops will be the renowned wineries of El Potro and La Resolana, where we will delve into their wine production process and practices. Next, we’ll make our way to the Campos de Solana wineries, celebrated for their exceptional high-altitude wines. A noteworthy detail: for a wine to be classified as 'high altitude,' the vineyards must be situated at over 800 meters above sea level!

Continuing our exploration, we will arrive at the Casa Real winery, famous for crafting grape brandy, known as singani. Here, we will discover the distinctive characteristics of this traditional Bolivian spirit. Our itinerary also includes a visit to the picturesque Cañón de la Angostura, a favored canyon in the region.

Our journey continues to the Casa Vieja winery, producer of some of the most recognized wines in Tarija. At this location, indulge in a tasting session featuring a selection of wines paired with artisanal cheese.

Lastly, we will visit Bodega Las Duelas, where you will learn about the unique wines crafted by more than a dozen local producers. This is an excellent opportunity to truly appreciate the remarkable diversity of wines that Valle La Concepción has to offer!

After an engaging six-hour experience, we will return to your hotel in Tarija, with an estimated arrival time of 2:30 pm.
