We will convene at the Tomar train station as scheduled and commence our exploration of this captivating Portuguese locale. Let the adventure begin!

Our first destination is the impressive Pegões Aqueduct, soaring to a height of 30 meters (98 feet). Constructed from 180 arches, this remarkable structure's construction initiated in 1593, during the reign of Philip I of Portugal.

Following that, we'll proceed to the historic Convent of Christ, recognized as a significant masterpiece of Portugal's architectural heritage. This site is proudly listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our visit here will last approximately 2 hours, allowing ample time to explore its stunning gardens.

Next, we will visit the vibrant historic center of Tomar. Our path will take us along the renowned Sepra Pinto Street before arriving at the lively Republic Square. You will be mesmerized by the mosaic featuring black and white diamond patterns that embellishes the square. Here, we'll pause briefly so you can enjoy a snack.

Our adventure will then lead us around the expansive Mata dos Sete Montes, a park spanning 39 hectares populated by various tree species, including judas, oak, and olive trees. Additionally, we will observe a curious miniature model of the towers of Christ's Convent.

At the conclusion of our tour, we will return to the initial meeting point, wrapping up our experience after a fulfilling 7 hours.
