Itinerary

The adventure commences at 10 am when we gather at the Vila Real de Santo António Marina. Here, the off-roading quest begins, taking us through the breathtaking mountainous terrain of the Algarve.

Boarding a 4x4 Jeep, we set off towards Castro Marim. Along our route, we will traverse several quaint villages nestled within the scenic hills of the region.

Upon arriving in Castro Marim, you will delve into its rich history as we explore the natural park and its saline lagoons. This area is known for its avian residents, where you might spot flamingos while learning about the diverse flora and fauna native to the northeastern Algarve.

After the Jeep tour, a visit to a local restaurant awaits, where you can savor a delicious lunch featuring a starter, a choice of fish or meat, dessert, and your choice of wine, soft drink, or water. Refreshed and ready, we proceed to our next stop, where you’ll have the chance to sample the regional Medronho liqueur alongside other traditional delicacies.

Our journey concludes in Cacela Velha, a charming village perched on a hill, offering panoramic views of the southeastern lagoon of the Ria Formosa.

As we wrap up this exploration of the lesser-known corners of the Algarve by Jeep, we will return to our original meeting point by 4 pm.
